Once again, the expectations component of a survey– in this case, the Sentix Economic Index– have deviated from the story that the headline or current situation numbers would relay. Following in the footsteps of struggling expectations in the ZEW and Ifo surveys, today’s data reveal a continued drop in optimism among European investors:
